Searching
for information of child poverty through Internet we found some really sad
stories of children who are facing the problem of child poverty. We couldn't be
immune to the stories because they are very tragical, so we decided to put some
stories on this web site because we think that only real life stories can
express the problem best, and what's the most important is that they can reach
to human's heart making it deeply sad of the fate of this children and putting
in their heart a little effort and wish to change this situation. We hope that
our site will be read by governments and they will put effort to eradicate this
problem. So that, every child in the planet could realize its dream!

Since her mother left, Leeda has been in charge of the
household. Every day she cooks, cleans and takes care of her brothers. A
phone number to contact her mother in case of emergency is carved on one

When things quieted down, the
village was occupied by rebels and the situation was tense. Martha's
father saw a steep decline in his business and was forced to move to a
town deemed safe from rebel attack. There, he was able to rebuild his
business and to send money and clothes to his daughter.

Nodira, which means 'unique' in Uzbek, is one of five
children in a poor family. Every morning, after reciting her prayers,
Nodira feeds the hens and goats from her wheelchair. The rest of her day
is spent knitting for other people and helping her mother with the

Yuleini's mother gave birth to the girl when she was
herself a 16-year-old teenager. She never registered Yuleini's birth and
